Central Oregon Climate Hackathon
Presented by the Bend Climate Collective and the Deschutes Tech Guild
---
What happens when climate expertise and creativity converge in the same room? Real, localized solutions.
Central Oregon is on the front lines of climate change. From increased wildfire risk and intensity, to hot, drought-prone summers and the growing strain on our local power grid, the challenges are front and center to many. Fortunately, so is our community's climate talent. We are home to a vibrant network of climate professionals, technologists, and curious community members working to solve these exact problems on a daily basis.
That is why we are bringing Central Oregon the Climate Hackathon.
What to Expect The day is structured around conversation, collaboration, and ideation rather than producing a finished deliverable. Come ready to:
Learn from people outside your usual professional circles.
Make meaningful connections that outlast the event.
Think critically about what technology can (and couldn't) do for our community's climate resilience.
