Hosts & Community Lead

Alexandra Reilly is Head of Marketing at TechTO, driving brand growth, storytelling, and community building in Canada’s tech ecosystem. She amplifies both emerging and established startups, fosters an inclusive space for technologists, and supports innovation and business growth. Alexandra also co-hosts TechTO’s bi-weekly podcast, Quick Takes, alongside Co-Founder Alex Norman, delivering tech news and analysis. Her leadership and dedication make her a key force in advancing the Canadian tech landscape.

Ryan Ing is a Fractional Founding Sales Hire who helps B2B SaaS companies rapidly scale revenue. He specializes in fixing sales challenges, building in-house systems, and laying groundwork before hiring full-time teams. With experience at IBM, Oracle, Shopify, Unstoppable, and Superlink, Ryan understands how sales strategies evolve across company stages. He’s guided by transparency, hard work, and a passion for helping others. Ryan also authors the ToIRL newsletter and brings expertise across SaaS, Web3, fintech, and developer tools. Outside work, he’s a hip hop enthusiast, gamer, and avid nonfiction reader. Ready to get sales moving fast? Ryan’s your guy.

Jon Levesque is the Regional Sales Director at Confluent. His passion for software began with childhood video games like Excite Bike and Zelda, sparking a lifelong curiosity about how things work. From early entrepreneurial efforts — paper routes and shoveling driveways — to funding his own way through college, Jon has built a career focused on helping businesses solve complex problems. With over two decades of experience, he finds the greatest rewards not just in growing shareholder value, but in the meaningful connections made along the way. Today, Jon leads the sales team driving Confluent’s growth across the Canadian market.

Michelle Oke is Vice President of Sales at Loopio, where since September 2021 she leads both Commercial and Enterprise Sales as well as Business Development. A proven strategist and revenue leader, Michelle excels at scaling high‑performance teams and optimizing sales processes through a consultative, data‑driven approach. Previously, she held leadership roles at Loopio and Cision Canada, managing strategic accounts and driving client growth. A Western University alumna in Management & Organizational Studies, Michelle combines analytical rigor with a collaborative leadership style to deliver consistent results.

Helen is CCO & CRO of PortfolioHiWay. She began her investment career at Canadian ShareOwner Investments, later acquired by Wealthsimple, where she served as VP and CCO, scaling digital operations and collaborating with regulators and fintechs. Most recently, she was VP Digital Investment Programs at Canso Investment Counsel. Helen has completed industry courses including CSC, CPH, PDO, CCO, Traders Trading Course, BMC, and EMP. With 20+ years’ experience in client relations, product development, compliance, and scaling businesses, she also mentors for Women in Capital Markets and co-leads the Global Distance Mentorship Program at Women in ETFs.

Thomas Waites is the Chief Revenue Officer at Median. Previously, he was VP of Sales at Together, where he scaled the company post-Series A to a successful acquisition. Through his firm TW Sales Inc., he also advises startup Founders and Sales Leaders across North America and Europe on their go-to-market strategy. Thomas is a mentor and coach at Communitech and the DMZ, and volunteers with Women in Tech Sales Bootcamp and Palette Skills. Based in Toronto, he holds degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University and Queen’s University.
