VISTA — Vancouver Island Social & Trail Adventures

Our events require advance planning and financial commitments, including venue reservations, activity bookings, equipment, supplies, staffing, and other organizational expenses.

Registration fees help cover these costs, many of which must be paid or committed in advance and may not be recoverable if a participant cancels. Our refund policy is designed to keep events financially sustainable while providing reasonable flexibility whenever possible.

Free events have no registration fee. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible so your space can be offered to someone else.

Event spaces are often limited, and registering prevents others from attending.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify events due to low enrollment, safety concerns, weather, staffing, venue availability, or other operational circumstances.

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, a credit may be issued. Participants may request a refund in writing within thirty-one (31) days of the cancellation announcement.

Refunds may not be available for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control, except where required by law.

The organizer is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, including transportation, accommodation, equipment, or other related costs.

Food, drinks, and optional activities purchased directly from venues or other providers are subject to those providers' own refund and cancellation policies.

If you have any questions about event costs, cancellations, refunds, or this policy, please contact the organizer before registering. We're happy to clarify how the policy applies to a particular event.
