​Mooncalf NYC invites you to celebrate the grand opening of its new chapter—a space born from the desire to champion underrepresented, multidisciplinary artists and radical experimentation. What began as a pop-up in late 2024 quickly became a vital gathering place for artists working across visual art, music, film, and performance. Over six months, Mooncalf grew into a vibrant hub, echoing the creative energy and subcultural spirit that once defined downtown Manhattan.

​To mark this next phase, we’re launching ‘IMMEDIATE MOONCALF RETROSPECT +’, a sweeping group exhibition featuring the original roster of artists, members of the founding team, and a handful of new voices who embody the project’s interdisciplinary ethos. The show will serve as a dynamic backdrop for ongoing events—think lectures, figure drawing sessions, screenings, musical performances, and more.
