We’re also honored to host a special 20-minute fireside chat with Seth Godin, led by Floyd Jones. Seth’s work has fundamentally shaped how we think about marketing, leadership, and making change happen. He’s long challenged the idea that marketing is about noise or persuasion, instead reframing it as the work of earning trust, telling stories that matter, and showing up consistently for the people you seek to serve.
In this conversation, Seth will explore how nonprofit professionals can lean into the work they’re already doing with more intention and authenticity: not to reach everyone, but to resonate deeply with the right people. Because meaningful impact doesn’t come from shouting louder. It comes from building trust, creating connection, and leading change that brings others in as partners to advance your mission.
We’ll also hear a short perspective from Michael Sedillo, Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office of Nonprofit Services, sharing more about the city’s resources for nonprofits and opportunities to support the organizations serving New Yorkers.
