About Event

Most women are never told what happens to their bones and muscles after 40. Not by their doctors, not by their trainers. This session is about changing that.

Drawing from personal experience, Victoria van Oppen will share what she learned after hitting a wall at 42, and what she did about it.

🎯 Purpose of this session

From perimenopause onward, women's bodies go through significant changes: in bone density, muscle mass, and overall agility. These changes are inevitable. How well you're equipped to handle them is not.

The foundations you build today, whatever age you are, determine how prepared you will be for that transition. This session gives you the knowledge to understand what's coming and the practical tools to start preparing for it.

🧠 What we will explore

  • Why bone density and muscle mass decline accelerates around 40, and why most women don't notice until it's too late

  • The role of strength training and jump drills in protecting your bones, your brain, and your independence

  • Simple, low-barrier ways to get started.

What you will walk away with

  • A clear understanding of what happens to women's bodies as they age

  • Actionable tips to start building strength, whatever your level

  • The confidence to ask better questions to your doctors and trainers

  • Resources to go deeper at your own pace

👥 Who this is for

Women who want to take their health seriously and want to keep on being independent as they age.

No prior fitness experience needed.

Duration: 60 minutes. 50' session + 10' Q&A
