🌙 Sleep Masterclass | The Relationship Between Nutrition and Sleep: Understanding the Metabolic and Sleep Loop for Restful Nights

Sleep is not a passive state, it is an active, complex, and vital biological process. While we sleep, our body is hard at work: cleaning up cellular waste, repairing tissues, consolidating memories, processing emotions, and structuring new neural connections. At the same time, our metabolism is actively expressing itself throughout the night.

To support these critical nightly processes, what we do during the day matters. Our daily lifestyle, light exposure, evening routine, physical activity, and especially our nutrition, including meal timing, quality, and quantity, send continuous signals to our biological clock.

When sleep is efficient and restorative, our next day is set up for success: supporting optimal metabolism, hormone regulation, digestion, mood, and cognitive performance. Conversely, when metabolism or digestion is impaired, sleep can become fragmented, non-restorative, and disruptive.

In this free live session, we are joined by Ilaria Bertini, a dietitian specializing in metabolic, cognitive, and mental health through circadian rhythms, energy management, and neuroscience. Ilaria works with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and real-world biological data to help translate complex physiological signals into practical, personalized daily habits.

What we'll cover:

  • Sleep as Active Biology: How sleep drives cellular repair, brain clearance, emotional processing, and metabolic regulation.

  • The Two-Way Loop: How glucose dynamics, nighttime glucose spikes or crashes, and meal timing affect sleep quality and architecture.

  • Circadian Alignment: How your body clock coordinates digestion, metabolism, light, and sleep across 24 hours.

  • From Data to Insights: How to use signals from CGM, sleep tracking, and HRV to understand your unique individual patterns.

  • Practical Nutrition & Evening Strategies: Actionable tips on dinner timing, meal composition, and evening routines to protect your sleep environment.

  • Live Q&A: Bring your questions directly to our expert!

This is an educational session. Our goal is simple: for you to leave with a clear understanding of how nutrition and metabolism interact with your sleep — and how small, consistent adjustments can lead to better rest and daily energy.
