βπ« About the Event
βHONOUR THE DARKNESS, TEND YOUR SPARK, WELCOME THE RETURNING LIGHT
βThe Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, the quiet turning point when darkness reaches its fullest expression, and the light slowly begins to return. Most of us move straight past this threshold, rushing toward resolutions or trying to force a new beginning before we've made peace with the one just ending.
βThis candlelit mini-retreat is part of our ongoing Wheel of the Year series, exploring the eight seasonal turning points and the wisdom each one carries. Rather than rushing forward, this gathering offers space to honour the year that has been, listen inward, and enter winter with greater intention.
βThrough seasonal teaching, herbal tea, gentle movement and light breathwork, we'll explore the traditional meaning of the Winter Solstice and its themes of darkness, rest, renewal and returning light. You'll then be guided through a sound-healing meditation and winter vision quest, creating space to meet the quiet wisdom of the season.
βYou'll leave having reflected on:
βWhat the past year has asked of you
βWhat deserves to be carried forward
βWhat small spark you want to protect through the winter months
βWhat you're ready to release before the Wheel turns again
βThis isn't a rush toward New Year's resolutions. It's an evening to slow down, sit with the dark, and let your next chapter take shape at its own pace.
Bring with you: a journal and pen
