Data Driven De-Risking Workshop at the FOAK Summit

Data Driven De-Risking Workshop hosted by Mark1, RTI International, and Environmental Defense Fund.
The most powerful lever a startup has in de-risking its FOAK project is the data associated with the performance of its technology. The right data, with proper vetting, can provide assurance as to how the technology will perform in the real world.
Most startups, however, lack the time and funding to collect sufficient data from pilots/demonstrations. As a result, FOAK projects are kicked off without the necessary information needed to produce a design EPCs and insurers feel confident in. This makes it hard to get an EPC "wrap" or various types of insurance (e.g., performance guarantee insurance, liability insurance), which ultimately inhibits the ability to tap into conventional finance.
Join a diverse group comprising finance, EPC, insurance and climate startups for a discussion on this "data gap" and potential solutions that could be deployed to increase bankability of FOAK projects.
About the FOAK Summit:
Node's FOAK Summit brings together 500 senior leaders from across the value chain, including capital providers, EPCs, strategic corporates, offtakers, insurers, regulators, and growth stage startup founders who are gearing up for a FOAK deployment.
