About Event

On June 24, two powerful earthquakes struck north-central Venezuela near Caracas, collapsing buildings and leaving families displaced and communities in urgent need. Miami is home to one of the largest Venezuelan communities in the world so we're doing what this city does best: showing up for each other.

This week, The Dock is a drop-off point for earthquake relief supplies. Bring what you can anytime during the week, everything collected will be delivered to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in Doral, who are already mobilizing on the ground in Venezuela with their local partner, I Love Venezuela.

What to bring (GEM's immediate needs list):

Non-perishable food
Canned protein (chicken, beef, tuna, Vienna sausages, sardines) · canned fruit · canned beans & vegetables · dried fruit/veg · snacks (protein bars, crackers, chips, beef jerky) · ramen · MREs · cases of water
