Care Closer to Home: Michigan’s Benefit You Need to Know About ✨
Are you caring for a loved one at home — or know someone who is? Did you know Michigan has a program that pays family members to provide that care?
Join us for a free, informative workshop where we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about the Michigan Home Help Program, run by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).
📋 What You’ll Learn:
✅ What the Home Help Program is — and why so many families don’t know they qualify
✅ Who is eligible — Medicaid recipients who need help with at least one daily living activity
✅ What services are covered — bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, medication management, laundry, meal prep, grocery shopping, and more
✅ How to become a paid caregiver — including which family members qualify (and which don’t)
✅ Caregiver requirements — must be 18+, able to follow program instructions, and pass a background check
✅ How to apply — step-by-step guidance so you leave ready to take action
