Session 1. Growth Businesses ($1M+ ARR)

NEW DATE: Tuesday, August 11 | 4:30 – 6:00 PM EST (Virtual)

Facilitated by Joycelyn David, Founder of Tulong Tech, CEO of AVCommunications, Entrepreneur, and Angel Investor

A 90-minute session for Filipino-Canadian business owners operating at scale. We want to hear about your experience in growing your business (i.e. access to capital, procurement, talent, export markets) and what federal support would move the needle. What you share goes directly into the first unified Filipino-Canadian pre-budget submission to Budget 2026.

Who is at the table:  Filipino-Canadian founders and owners operating at or above roughly $1M in annual revenue, with employees and established operations.

More Information ❗️

What is the Federal Pre-Budget Consultation?

Each year, the federal government opens a consultation period inviting Canadians, organizations, and sectors to submit written recommendations that inform the next federal budget. This year, for the first time, the Filipino-Canadian community is putting forward a unified submission for Budget 2026, and we want you to be part of it.

Our goal is to showcase the impact and needs of the Filipino community in Canada's economy. The Federal Pre-budget Consultations is a critical form of advocacy for the needs and contributions of the Filipino-Canadian Community at the federal level.

Data privacy: This session’s audio will be recorded, and a full transcript will be shared with everyone who attends. Your personal information will not be shared with any third party without your consent. Recordings and notes are used to identify common themes and experiences from the community. Anything quoted in the final submission appears in anonymized form.
