PSI - Yearly Community Update

​Join the Planetary Sunshade Institute for our annual update.

​This call is for everyone following the sunshade concept to hear about our progress, lessons learned, and key perspectives from advisors.

​What we'll cover:

• ​Highlights from our work this year, focusing on both our research, and how our organization is evolving.

• ​A rapid-fire panel on the technical progress we made this year and why it's significant. Featuring PSI research collaborators Chantal Cappelletti of Nottingham, Saptarshi Bandyopadhyay of JPL and more.

• ​Another rapid-fire panel on how we, as the sunshade community, should think about engaging with governments. This will be a discussion among friends of the PSI who work more broadly across climate, space, and SRM, featuring Mark Symes of ARIA and Jonathan Wiener of Duke.

• ​An optional zoom breakout group session where you can join a discussion on the sunshade topic of your choice.

​Throughout, there will be activities and surveys to get feedback from you. This is going to be interactive! We will also circulate a recording for those who can't make it -- sign up here to receive it right after the event. A slightly shorter version will be posted publicly as well in the next Throwing Shade.
