Better Interviews, Better Hires - Conductor
A great conversation doesn’t always lead to a great hire. Too often, interviews rely on chemistry, intuition, and loosely defined ideas about whether someone “feels like a fit.”
In this practical one-hour workshop, participants will learn how to bring more structure and useful evidence into the interview process. We’ll explore the two distinct questions every interview should answer: Does this person align with how our organization works, and are they prepared to succeed in this particular role?
Participants will learn how to:
Define what success in a role looks like before interviewing candidates
Turn organizational values into behavioral interview questions
Ask follow-up questions that get beyond rehearsed answers
Distinguish genuine values alignment from simple personal chemistry
Use a lightweight scorecard to make more consistent hiring decisions
The session will include hands-on workshopping, so participants will leave with questions and tools they can use in their next interview.
Ideal for business owners, people managers, team leaders, and anyone involved in hiring.
