About Event

This collection dismantles the dystopian future of a dying Earth through sustainable craft and a collective vision of unity.

Hand-stitched entirely from secondhand garments and waste materials given to me by different people, these clothes transform our collective waste into a gentle embrace of peace, unity, and borderless freedom.

Developing the collection, I thought deeply about the wounds we inflict through pollution, consumerism, and war, realizing that our Earth desperately needs our kindness, conscious choices, and sustainable practices before our time on this Earth is done.

Ultimately, these garments are an invitation for humanity to disarm the artificial boundaries that divide us, rising together like a phoenix to protect this world for the next generation through love, humanity, and radical kindness.

Meet the designer: Xilé is a New York based fashion designer hailing from Lahore, Pakistan. Xilé notable works include Met Gala celebrity looks for Tom Ford and Vogue feature on her Parsons School of Fashion graduate collection.
