A rare daytime Coqtail Hour!
We're normally an after-hours operation, workshops, art swaps, social hours, the kind of stuff that happens once the sun goes down. This is the opposite: a slow Saturday morning at a Japanese garden in the East Bay, before the day really starts. Tea, coffee, conversation, a koi pond.
Tea & Talk is our first casual community hang. No agenda, no programming, no name tags. Just a few of us walking a loop, gazing at the gorgeous garden, and meeting whoever else showed up!
We'll bring a few conversation prompt cards (in case you want them) and not much else.
Bring: Your own thermos of tea or coffee, snacks for yourself or some to share, and a friend (or come solo and meet some)!
Please RSVP just so we know roughly who's coming. Show up whenever, leave whenever, this isn't the kind of event that needs a schedule!
Age Restriction + Photography Disclaimer
All guests must be 18+ to register, but parents/guardians are welcome to come with family. We'll be taking photos and videos at the event; if you'd prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on arrival.

We're Sama and Jacqueline, two East Bay girls who spent five years in NYC and watched each other come alive in a city where creativity was so accessible. We decided when we came home that we weren't leaving that behind.
Coqtail Hour is the community we wished existed when we got back. Pop-up events in the Bay, after five, for people who know there's more to them than their LinkedIn.
