JUNE - BEYOND Work: Exploring Retirement Through the Inner Development Goals
Retirement is often approached as a financial or administrative milestone. Yet for many people, it is one of life’s most significant human transitions, touching identity, purpose, wellbeing, relationships, contribution and belonging.
In this interactive session, Michele Telio, Transition Coach, will introduce BEYOND, a human-centered approach to life after work, and explore how the Inner Development Goals can serve as a powerful compass for retirement transition.
Participants will connect retirement to broader sustainability themes, including SDG 3: Health and Wellbeing, SDG 4: Quality Education and Lifelong Learning, and SDG 11: Sustainable Communities.
Through small-group conversations around the five IDG dimensions : Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating and Acting we will reflect on how individuals, coaches and organizations can support this transition with greater awareness, care and intention.
Together, we will explore the shift from professional role to renewed purpose, from productivity to contribution, and from “What am I leaving?” to “What am I becoming?”
