How to Build a Micro Village in Nature: A Practical Guide
Over the 3 years, while building our network, I’ve learned one thing the hard way:
Creating beautiful places in nature is possible - but nobody teaches you how actually to start.
Most of us feel the same pull:
to escape the cities, to build something meaningful, to gather good people in nature…
But then you open the first document, or look at land options, and it suddenly feels impossible.
So I decided to put everything I’m writing in my book into one practical session for the Network School community. And save you lots of time and energy.
In this talk, I’ll share the real steps for launching a small eco-village or nature retreat in your own country — even if you don’t have a big budget, political connections, or a perfect plan.
We’ll go through things like:
Which is the most important part that everybody is skipping and failing because of that afterwards?
how to structure the financial plan
how to find land that actually works
how to start small without risking too much
what infrastructure is essential and what’s just a distraction
how to think about cabins, energy, water, food - in a simple, realistic way
How to build a community before you build houses
the mistakes I made (so you don’t have to)
How can we help you with the next steps
No hype, no “get rich in 30 days” nonsense.
Just honest experience, shortcuts, lessons learned, and a bit of inspiration.
If you feel that one day you want to build your own place in nature - something small, beautiful, meaningful - this session might give you the clarity and the confidence to take the first step.
You’re very welcome to join.
It will be relaxed, practical, and hopefully useful.
