Belong Social: end of summer party at Pit Kitchen

​An end of summer party at Pit Kitchen, Todenham Road, Todenham, just outside Moreton-in-Marsh. Friday 25th September, from 7.30pm. Open fire cooking on a farm site, mostly outdoors and partly covered, so bring something warm for when the sun goes. Dog friendly.

​There is no ticket price and no minimum spend, and food is not included on purpose. Some months you are bootstrapping and you want one drink. Some months you want three courses. Both are a normal evening here, and nobody is keeping track of which one you are having.

​Almost every time we see each other it is half past nine in the morning, over a coffee, with something that needs solving. This is the other version of that. Nobody stands up and nobody introduces their business to the room. You eat, you sit next to someone you have only ever typed at in WhatsApp, and you get an actual evening out of it.

​September is the month everyone comes back and quietly panics about the last quarter. Going into that having spent a Friday evening with people who understand the week you are about to have is worth whatever you decide to spend on it.
