Ear Seeds & Beads Acupuncture for Stress & Relief: A Hands-On Community Workshop
Hosted by Radical Health · Led by Juan Cortez of QiZone Wellness
This practice didn’t start in a clinic.
In the 1970s, the Young Lords and the Black Panthers built their own healthcare in the streets, in community centers, and in Mott Haven. Auricular acupuncture was part of that work, a tool for easing stress, trauma, and disconnection that communities put directly in each other’s hands.
That lineage is still alive, and we’re bringing it back to the community.
No one should health alone. That belief is the foundation of Radical Health, and it’s the foundation of this workshop. Ear Seed Circles is a space to learn a needle-free tool for stress relief, grounded in the NADA protocol, and to practice it with the people around you. You’ll learn the same techniques used in trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, and everyday community wellness.
No needles. No medical background required. Just you, your hands, and knowledge you can carry into your own spaces.
Before we gather
Please watch Dope Is Death before the workshop. It tells the story of the movement that built this work, and it will ground our time together.
