Halfway There: Building In the Age of AI

​It’s a little more thank halfway through 2026, halfway through a year that was supposed to clarify a lot of things about AI and operations. For most ops and people professionals, it has raised more questions than it’s answered. What does your function actually look like now? What’s been automated, what’s been added, and what’s landed awkwardly in between?

​This roundtable brings together a small group of operators, People Ops professionals, and strategy and AI leads for an honest mid-year conversation. Not a panel, not a keynote, a peer discussion designed to surface what’s actually happening on the ground, across startup, VC, and enterprise contexts. We’ll use dynamic teaming and AI operator frameworks as light structure to guide the conversation, but the room drives it.
