About Event

Oakland Shapers Retreat 🌉

Join us for a day of connection, collaboration, and community impact as the Oakland Global Shapers come together to build what’s next.

This retreat is all about turning ideas into action. We’ll be diving into the projects shaping our hub’s future, and connecting new faces with the work already underway.

What we’re covering:

🤝 Meet & Connect — New to the hub or looking to deepen ties? Come meet fellow Shapers and find your lane.

🚀 Get Involved — Learn about our active projects and find where you can plug in and contribute.

💸 Shred the Debt — An update on our initiative tackling medical debt burdens in our community.

🌱 Youth Mentorship — Building the pipeline for Oakland’s next generation of leaders.

🤖 AI & Workforce Development — A conversation on how AI is reshaping work, and what it means for our local workforce.
