Chakra Yoga: The Hidden Teachings of the Subtle Body
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you will be guided into a practice that works explicitly with the chakra system to illuminate the subtle body and release deeply held patterns of suffering.
Rooted in the teachings of Lady Niguma, the earliest recorded female yogi, this lineage-based practice dates back nearly a thousand years. It is among the oldest documented yoga sequences in existence, designed not merely to stretch the physical body, but to awaken clarity, balance, and liberation within the mind.
The workshop will include an overview of the subtle body map, chakras and philosophy, followed by the complete classical yoga sequence attributed to Lady Niguma. Participants will be led through guided meditation and a thoughtfully paced asana practice, offering both experiential depth and intellectual understanding.
Expect to leave with a deeper relationship to your subtle body, an embodied experience of this ancient tradition, and practical insight you can carry into your personal practice.
