Prior to Experian, James co-founded Alacrity Semiconductors and held engineering leadership roles at Qualcomm. He earned an MBA from Yale School of Management and both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from UCLA.

His work spans AI strategy, data governance, operational efficiency, and business modernization across healthcare and consumer services, including leadership experience with Western Dental & Orthodontics / Sonrava Health. He brings a practical executive perspective on making AI initiatives measurable, scalable, and aligned with real business outcomes.

Global Forward Deployment Engineering Leader - Generative and Agentic AI

​Shaun leads a global team of cloud architects, data scientists, and AI engineers, helping AWS customers forward-deploy generative and agentic AI services across their business. The team focuses specifically on Amazon Quick, while leveraging AWS services like Bedrock and AgentCore alongside a range of third-party tools. Their key competencies include evaluating business investments, governance, AI performance assessment, data security, generative AI, agentic AI, and responsible AI; as well as helping end users rebuild day-to-day habits to adopt new ways of working with AI assistants that improve quality and productivity.
