Anuj Jasani '01 on Joy — Babson Evening
🍷 Ticket comes with a glass of wine! Non-Babson Alumni Welcome!
Joy isn’t what you get after you’ve made it. It’s how you get there.
This is a story about redesigning success around joy as fuel, not as a reward. After inheriting a family business, Anuj Jasani '01 (LinkedIn) pushed through years of stress, marginal results, and joyless hustle, including a joint venture with a highly skilled, razor-sharp operator who knew how to win deals. But Anuj also saw how empty a life can feel when it’s optimized only for money and control.
That contrast forced him to ask a different question: What if work could come with fulfillment and joy?
Anuj chose another path. He deliberately filled his life with things that gave him energy: serving on the board of the Ladies’ Recreation Club (LRC), joining EO and later YPO, traveling, sports, and increasingly, sharing experiences with his wife and daughters, from local concerts to overseas music festivals.
Join Anuj Jasani for a conversation with Kevon Cheung '12 on Joy, where he will share how planning experiences you’re excited about can become a powerful system for motivation and capacity expansion.

About Babson Evening
Every other month, Babson alumni and friends gather on a Thursday to hear a personal story from one of our own. These candid tales from fellow Beavers spark reflection, fresh perspectives, and meaningful enlightenment.
