Funding Her Future: Advancing Gender Work in India

What enables organizations working with and for women and girls to sustain their efforts, deepen their impact, and strengthen their work over time?

Funding Her Future explores what investing in women and girls looks like in India, with a focus on philanthropy and civil society action. The research examines which organizations receive funding, which struggle to access it, where resources are concentrated, and where critical gaps remain across the ecosystem.

This webinar will share key insights from the research, followed by a panel discussion featuring sector experts. Drawing on their experiences, speakers will reflect on how organizations working with and for women and girls have sustained and strengthened their work over time, adapted to changing contexts and priorities, and identified pathways to deepen their impact.

Bringing together research insights and practitioner perspectives, the conversation will explore the approaches, partnerships, and forms of support that have enabled organizations to advance outcomes for women and girls. It will also highlight lessons for philanthropy on how to support organizations working in this space and strengthen the broader ecosystem for women and girls in India.
