Flyering to Stop State Cuts to Affordable Housing & Public Transit @ Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire

​Recent state budget cuts threaten billion of dollars in funding in the affordable housing and public transit programs that keep our communities connected and affordable.

​Join us to protect these essential program and stop the cuts! We need your help to hand out flyers, put up posters, engage community members, and urge them to take action before these cuts are made.

​Please be there for the first 15-20 minutes so you can learn how to flyer, get materials, and decide if you want to team up with a buddy. After that, we'll head out to start passing them out in the area.

​No prior experience is required. Here are tips and tricks for flyering if you want to brush up beforehand.

​Also please RSVP! We need to know how many posters and flyers to bring. Feel free to bring your own tape. We recommend bringing a tote to hold posters while you're putting one up.

​These next few months will be critical to stopping the cuts. Whether you can volunteer once or multiple times, your help during this Summer will make a real difference.
