About Event

Join an anonymous Sobriety Peer Support Group (online) hosted by Brad Holt a LPC with 20+ years of experience, from the Sunflower Clinic of PA.

We can't wait to say hi.

About This Group
This is a free, peer support group for adults in Pennsylvania navigating recovery or exploring a more intentional relationship with substances and other addictions.

This group is peer support, not group therapy. It’s a space to connect, listen, share experiences, and feel less alone. Participation is always optional - listening counts.

What to Expect

  • A welcoming, nonjudgmental space

  • Optional sharing (no pressure to speak)

  • Peer connection and mutual support

  • Light facilitation to help hold the space

Who It’s For

  • Adults in Pennsylvania who are in recovery or recovery-curious

  • Anyone in PA seeking community and support

  • All addictions and stages of recovery welcome

What It’s Not

  • Group therapy

  • Crisis intervention

  • A replacement for medical or clinical care

Facilitator
Brad is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and addiction specialist who will be present to help guide the conversation and uphold group guidelines. While Brad brings clinical expertise, this group is peer support rather than therapy.

Confidentiality & Safety
To help create a safe and respectful space, participants agree to:

  • Keep what’s shared in group confidential

  • Not record, screenshot, or share identifying information

  • Join from a private, distraction-free location

  • Attend on time (15-minute grace period)

  • Refrain from excessive profanity or detailed “war stories”

  • Treat all participants with respect and care

Family or friends may not attend, and driving while participating is not permitted.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 988 or local emergency services. For Pennsylvania-specific substance use support, PA's Get Help Now helpline is available 24/7 at 1-800-662-HELP (4357), or by text at 717-216-0905.

Zoom Name Tip (Recommended)
For privacy, participants may use a first name, first name + last initial, or a nickname when joining.
