Lessons from Edmonton’s UNESCO Learning City Journey

Community Coffee

Our final Edmonton Startup Week Community Coffee is a special takeover celebrating Edmonton’s designation as a UNESCO Learning City and exploring how education, experience and opportunity continue to shape us well beyond the classroom.

Led by members of Edmonton’s Learning City committee, the panel will feature Nafaa Haddou, CEO of FireSafe AI, alongside leaders from education and the community for a conversation about the experiences that help people build skills, discover new paths and see new possibilities.

Drawing on perspectives across education, entrepreneurship and technology, the panel will explore non-linear career paths, how skills developed in one setting can open opportunities in another, and how we can better connect those skills and experiences to new opportunities and real-world challenges.

Come for the conversation, stay for the coffee and meet some new people along the way.

Doors open at 7:30 AM.
