While VLOOKUPs and pivots solve many of our reporting needs, both have certain limitations.
In this module we will look at some more alternative lookup functions that can solve problems VLOOKUP can’t. We also introduce aggregation functions which are another way of analysing data that don’t need to be refreshed.
To help simplify these more advanced functions, we introduce a powerful technique called Named Ranges, and pull it all together at the end with a dashboard constructed from more specialised charts.
Named Ranges and how to use them in more advanced calculations
The XLOOKUP function
Solve more complex lookup problems with INDEX and MATCH
Summarise data using SUMIFS, AVERAGEIFS & COUNTIFS
Specialised Charts & Dashboarding Techniques
