Meet/Q&A with NHL VP of Player Safety Patrick Burke
About Patrick Burke:
Patrick Burke has been the Vice President of Player Safety for the National Hockey League (NHL) since 2021. He has worked in the NHL Department of Player Safety since 2013. In addition to his work in Player Safety, Burke is a former amateur scout for the Philadelphia Flyers and a law school graduate. While in law school, he co-founded and led the ESPN Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award-winning LGBTQ+ nonprofit You Can Play Project, negotiating deals such as an NFL sponsorship while still in law school.
