About Event

Boston College's Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars Program is a one-year master's program that prepares the next generation of urban educators.

Dr. Ashana Hurd, Ed.D., is hosting a virtual information session exclusively for BPS staff. It's a chance to ask your questions directly and see whether this accelerated pathway fits your career goals.

Why attend:

  • Finish in one year. The program runs across four semesters (Summer, Fall, Spring, and Summer) in one of these areas:

    • Early Childhood Education

    • Elementary Education

    • Secondary Education

    • Moderate Special Needs

  • Significant tuition support. Every Donovan Scholar receives at least 50% tuition remission.

  • A tailored financial package. The program works with each scholar to build a generous package that may include additional grants, scholarships, and internships.

  • A purpose-driven cohort. You'll learn alongside peers grounded in social justice, critical inquiry, and community building.
