The Venture Out Project

Join TVOP volunteer Forest for a morning of kayaking on the Morro Bay estuary!

We will be paddling about 2-3 miles around the bay, observing wildlife and learning about the natural history of this special place. No experience necessary! We will provide a brief paddling lesson before we depart, and we will go at an easy, social pace with lots of breaks. Optional group lunch afterwards!

We ask folks under the age of 18 to please register themselves and an adult to accompany them. This event is intended for the LGBTQ+ community. If you require a service dog to attend, please let us know and we’ll collaborate with you on how to keep you both comfortable and hydrated at this event.

The sliding scale of this event starts at $15 and goes to $30. Paying at the higher end of the scale helps to cover participants for whom the ticket cost is a barrier to access.
