The Hard Half - 5 to 9 Society
The Hard Half with a guest to be announced soon. Monday, November 30 at Deauville Club.
The Hard Half is a fireside series from 5 to 9 Society, the invite-only leadership community for founders and operating leaders who build.
Every founder and executive has the story they tell in public and the half they don’t. The hard things that happened outside the glamour of building a company or leading one. Those stories come out more easily in a room where people feel comfortable, the way they do over dinner with friends.
A 5 to 9 Society dinner is that kind of room. Small, intimate, one conversation, phones away, and held under the Chatham House Rule. What you learn is yours to take with you. Who said it stays at the table. No one is asked to share anything confidential. The evening is about being open and comfortable enough to tell your own story.
Every Hard Half opens with the same question, the one our founder, Christine Song, asked CEOs before she agreed to work for them. Thirty minutes with one guest. Then we sit down to dinner and the whole table joins in.
Our guests are the kind of leaders you usually only see on a stage, from a seat in the audience. At The Hard Half, they sit at the table with you. Same meal, same conversation, close enough to ask what you actually want to know.
Invite-only. All requests are reviewed and must be approved to attend (founders and operating executives only). Seats are $150, non-refundable once approved.
