Join TransitMatters as we celebrate Boston’s queer community and advocate for a T that serves everyone with dignity.

Come wearing your favorite Pride and Transit gear as we kick off Pride Month and TransitMatters’ first-ever presence at the Boston Pride Parade. RSVP for the Parade here.

  • Safety as Accessibility: Ensuring a system free from harassment.

  • Economic Equity: Reliable transit as a tool for survival and success.

  • Visibility: Reclaiming our public spaces, one ride at a time.

Hear from legislative and LGBTQ+ allies who are advocating for better transit for all, including our keynote speaker Boston City Councilor Sharon Durkan, a presentation from the MBTA’s LGBTQ+ Pride Employee Resource Group, and a special video message from Carter Lavin, transportation advocate and author of If You Want to Win, You’ve Got to Fight: A Guide to Effective Transportation Advocacy, whose work helps advocates build power and win real improvements for safer, more reliable, people-centered transportation.

Light fare provided. Cash bar. Suggested Donation: $40
