Camperdown Open IV
Join the New York City Disc Golf Association in Prospect Park for the 4th Annual Camperdown Open!
This is the longest running disc golf tournament based within New York City and serves as the start for the 2026 NYCDGA Tag Season.
Participants will play a single unsanctioned round of 18 temporary holes designed by members of the NYCDGA utilizing the unique landscape and park infrastructure.
At the end of the round, tags will be distributed and a champions will be crowned!
Due to the nature of playing disc golf within NYC, participation is limited to members of the NYCDGA for the 2026 year! Become a member on our website https://nycdga.org/membership/ then RSVP/register to secure your slot in this tournament!

Camperdown Open Update: 1/29/2026
Good evening!
The 4th Camperdown Open is almost here and with it comes icy disc golf and heated rivalries.
If you’ve not already checked, please note that the weather this Saturday looks to be very cold. Should this dissuade you from participating please take a moment to mark your RSVP status as “Not Going”, there is no shame in changing your designation. (This also allows for others to take your position in the player pool)
If you are ready to battle the cold and throw some discs then this information is important to you.
From 9:00 to 9:45 players will check in to be added to a card based on once your card is finalized you will begin play.
Because of this check in and finalization period you may wait longer to tee than anticipated. If you need to finish earlier please message here or inform Nathan Munster In-person so we can accommodate you accordingly. If you have to leave before tags are distributed we can find a time to deliver you your tag or It can be held by the NYCDGA/ a designated member until we see you next.
Because of the nature of disc golf in NYC Parks your card is expected to be diligent in regard to safety. When throwing, make sure that the fairway and greens are clear of park users. Waiting to tee is better than rushing. Additionaly, cards may have up to 7 players depending on the number of travel baskets we have available. This means pace of play will be slower so make sure to Schedule/dress accordingly.
Make sure to review the "Tournaments" channel on our discord to see an up to date course map. Notice the start and end of the course are about a 10 minute walk apart. The course caddy book will be uploaded in that channel as well the evening before.
