Let's Empower Black History Month
What did our communities give us and what are we building with it?
Let’s Empower is Pick Up The Mic’s Black History Month panel event, bringing together four Black creatives, founders, and professionals for an honest, forward-looking conversation about legacy, visibility, and what it really means to build from community.
This isn’t about reflection for its own sake. It’s about recognising the mentors, networks, and foundations that shaped us and examining what we’re doing with them now. Our speakers will explore the realities of creating from within underrepresented communities, the weight and the power of legacy, and how the next generation is translating inheritance into action.
The evening features a live panel discussion, structured audience participation, a community board, and open networking. Come ready to contribute, not just listen.
