Theme: Periods, Hormones & Fertility

Join us for a day-long creative sprint focused on building innovative, user-centric solutions that reimagine how we approach menstrual health. From design to code to storytelling—this hackathon is your chance to channel empathy, creativity, and impact into a powerful project.

Problem Statements (Choose One):

  1. Breaking the Period Stigma

    • How might we help teens and young people talk openly about periods without shame, confusion, or silence

    • Create bold, relatable stories, tools, or content that normalize periods — in schools, on social media, or within peer groups.

  2. “Something’s Off — But No One’s Listening”

    • How might we help people who are experiencing frustrating symptoms — like pain, irregular cycles, fatigue, or mood swings — but don’t have a diagnosis or feel dismissed?

    • Create a tool, web app, or experience that helps them track patterns, feel validated, or advocate for themselves during doctor visits.

  3. Fertility, Demystified

    • How might we reduce the anxiety and confusion around fertility by helping women understand their options earlier — like egg freezing, egg quality, or hormone testing?

    • Design an educational tool, web app, or guide that empowers women to explore fertility on their own terms, without fear or fluff.

Team Size: Solo, or in teams of 2–4 people

Eligibility: Open to all! No technical background required—bring your ideas, passion, and creativity.

What to Submit: Each team is required to submit two components.

  1. 🎥 Demo Video (2–5 minutes):

    • Showcase your project in action.

    • Clearly explain how it connects to the menstrual health theme.

    • Highlight the problem you're addressing and how your solution tackles it.

  2. 📁 Work File:
Upload one of the following, depending on your project format:

    • A ZIP file of your source code (for apps or websites)

    • A Figma link (if applicable)

    • A PDF or Slideshow (for product concepts or business plans)

Project Format: Submit your ideas in one of the following formats:

  • Figma File

  • Frontend Web Project

  • Vibe Coding (code meets creativity!)

  • Presentation Deck with creative storytelling

Submission Platform: A Google Form link will be shared after the kickoff on the official Discord channel.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation & Creativity – Is the idea unique and meaningful?

  • Execution – How well is the project built or presented?

  • Demo & Storytelling – Is the presentation engaging and clear? Does it convey the value of your solution?

🏅Prizes: Top 3 Teams Win

Rules of the hackathon:

  • Max team size of 3, recommended team size of 2

  • Must solve atleast 1 of the 3 problems in women's health

  • Pre-built projects allowed - but you can only submit the part that you build this week for judging!
