About food. curated.
For over 15 years, food. curated. has celebrated the human stories behind our meals — the heritage, the craft, the resilience, and the love that makes food mean something. We slow down. We go deep. We let the makers speak for themselves.
The series has earned 3 Emmy nominations, 5 James Beard Award nominations, and a James Beard Award win. Now, as food. curated. prepares for its first national public media broadcast, we're asking the community that believed in us from the beginning to help carry it forward.
When you support food. curated., you're not just funding a public television series. You're helping preserve living food history and the people who change the way we eat - one story at a time.

*** OUR MUSICAL PERFORMANCES ***
MUSICAL GUESTS - Geoff Rickly, Sloppy Jane & More!
Geoff Rickly, lead singer of Thursday & No Devotion, literary author, and one of New York's most respected voices in independent music, joins us for an intimate live set with indie artist Sloppy Jane and other incredible NYC-based musicians.
Sloppy Jane is an American avant garde/rock band fronted by Haley Dahl based in Brooklyn, New York. The band released their breakthrough second studio album, Madison, in 2021. Dahl is known for her eccentric performance art style. We are so excited to share her art with you.
Because the people who care about independent food media and the people who care about independent music are the same people. And for this special night, they're all in the same room.

FAQs
Do I need to bring a dish?
Yes! Like any traditional potluck, we'd absolutely love for everyone to bring a dish and participate in the sharing of food with others. You don't have to feed everyone. Bring just one dish that can feed at minimum 8-12 people.
In our experience, most people love to eat home-cooked foods that showcase your talents or culture. You can cook something savory, or bake something sweet. But, if you don't cook, that's ok! We ask that you support a local small food business and bring a sample of their food to celebrate with us.
Farm to People will not have heating elements to reheat dishes, so all dishes must be ready to go. We'll have long banquet tables for everyone to set their dish on.
What do I need to serve my dish on?
Most people bring their dishes plated and ready to go! You can bring a platter from home to take back with you at the end of the event, or use a disposable one. Don't forget serving utensils if your dish requires them. We will provide everyone with plates, bowls, and eating utensils at the potluck. There will be notecards & markers for you to write down your dish name and dietary notes. But feel free to bring your own!!
Is the event accessible?
Farm to People is a street-level community space. Please contact us with any specific accessibility needs and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Can I make an additional donation at the event?
Yes — and we'd love that. There will be a donation option on-site and a QR code for anyone who wants to contribute beyond their ticket. Every dollar stays with the show. If you can't make it, there is a link to our tax-exempt donor page above.
How can I become a sponsor of this event?
We welcome branded sponsors who want visibility and connection to our amazing food community. Please email us at lizadeguia(at)gmail(dot)com for more information. We'd love to help shape a positive and immersive experience for you.
Where does my ticket money go?
100% of net ticket proceeds go directly toward the production of food. curated.'s national public television broadcast, which shines a light on the talented local food makers changing the way we eat.
Who will be attending?
Local NYC chefs, small business food makers, cookbook authors, food media, music fans, Thursday fans, and NYC food lovers. Come make friends with all our friends and build your own community.
We hope you join us!
