On Saturday, June 20th, we're heading into the Serra da Arrábida for one of nature's most magical and fleeting spectacles: the silent glow of fireflies.
As darkness settles over the forest, we'll join Pedro Rosa from Viva Voice for a gentle night walk through the Arrábida, following winding paths beneath the stars in search of these tiny lights that appear only for a brief moment each year. Along the way, we'll share stories, pause to listen to the sounds of the night, and experience the serra in a completely different way—slower, quieter, and more connected.
This an invitation to step away from screens, noise, and routines and immerse yourself in the wonder of the natural world.

🚙 We'll also try to organise carpools/shared rides from Lisbon to make transportation easier for everyone.
🥘 For those who'd like to extend the evening, we'll meet for an optional à la carte dinner before the experience—a chance to share a meal, meet fellow explorers, and ease into the night together.

Our guide for this journey is Pedro Rosa, founder and storyteller behind VIVA VOICE — a project dedicated to creating living experiences where people, places and stories meet.
With a background in tourism, communication, cultural projects and human development, Pedro has worked with diverse communities — always guided by listening, connection and meaningful encounters. Through walking experiences and sensory storytelling, he invites us to slow down and rediscover how food, landscape and human stories are deeply connected.
For Pedro, every experience begins with a simple idea:

Ana Romero Monteiro
Ana Romero Monteiro, brings her passion for food, design, and community to life as the founder of FoodiesLX.
A proud Lisbon native, Ana spent eight years living abroad between Prague, New York, and Geneva, experiences that deepened her appreciation for the universal power of food to connect people.
An international designer, now also a community builder, Ana channels her creative spirit into crafting memorable gatherings. She’s a proud mom to a vibrant 5-year-old, an avid ceramic collector, and blends her artistry and hospitality to create inviting spaces where stories are shared and friendships are formed.
Ana’s love for bringing people together around the table is at the heart of FoodiesLX, and she can’t wait to welcome you to this unique event.
