Navigating Reunion: A Space for Chinese Adoptees
A low-pressure, adoptee-only space for Chinese adoptees who are currently in reunion with their biological families in China.
Reunion can hold a lot at once—connection, uncertainty, joy, grief, curiosity. Whether you’ve just matched, are planning a first trip, have already met your biological family, or are navigating a more complex or evolving relationship, this space is for you.
While many spaces focus on the search or identity journey, there are fewer places to simply exist in what comes after a match. This space is for that in-between: a chance to be with others who understand the experience of reunion in a real, lived way.
There’s no agenda and no expectation to share. You’re welcome to come as you are—whether that means talking, listening, or just being present. The space will be lightly facilitated, with an emphasis on connection, shared experience, and emotional safety.
For this third session, we’ll incorporate small group breakout conversations to create more space for connection and give participants additional opportunities to share and speak more openly.
