​What is SBIR / STTR?

​SBIR and STTR are federal programs that provide competitive, non-dilutive grant funding to small businesses to develop innovative technologies with strong commercial potential. The goal is to help move promising ideas from research and development toward real-world products and services.

​Kentucky startups benefit from local programs to help companies apply for federal SBIR / STTR and rom the state's signature KY SBIR Matching Funding program.
