EA Summit: Geneva
🎉 The first EA Summit in Geneva!
This one-day event brings people together around effective altruism (EA), a growing global movement dedicated to doing good more effectively. Geneva is a city built on international cooperation, and this summit is for people who want to think deeply about how to do the most good with the resources they have. You'll hear from inspiring speakers who have built their careers around that question, and leave motivated by the ideas and the community you've connected with.

Our team reviews applications and will be in touch within 10 working days.
You'll receive an email with our decision. If accepted, your card will be charged at that point. You won't be charged if you're not accepted.

Pricing works on an honour system: pick the tier that fits your situation. If cost would otherwise keep you away, email us at conferences@effectivealtruism.ch before you apply and we'll sort out a free ticket.
👥 Who Is This For?
EA Summit Geneva is designed primarily for professionals with a policy-related, international background, with little or no prior EA exposure.
This event might be especially useful for:
Professionals in global health and development, humanitarian response, biosecurity, AI, animal welfare, or related fields, interested in using their skills to address some of the world's most pressing problems.
Researchers and academics working on policy-relevant questions excited about applying critical thinking to complex social problems.
People already working in effective altruism related roles that are interested in networking and providing mentorship during the conference, or in supporting regional efforts.
Recent graduates or final-year students in international relations, public health, development, law, or a related field, who want to start building the connections and thinking that will shape their career. Spaces for students are limited, so we encourage students to apply with that in mind.

Saturday, 24 October, 09:00–18:00, in English. Full agenda coming soon. Expect to:
Learn about principles and frameworks for weighing trade-offs and judging impact, to help you choose where your work will matter most
Hear from peers who changed career to do more good: what the move cost them, what surprised them, what they'd do differently
Explore some of the world's most pressing and neglected problems with the experts and organisations working on them right now
Have structured 1-1s and small groups where the conversation centres on your own career or work
Leave with one concrete next step – a specific opportunity, a connection, or something to try in your current role on Monday
