Psychedelic Movie Club #1: "Enter The Void"
Psychedelic Movie Club is an event at Newspeak House where a bunch of psychedelic enthusiasts come to watch a movie together. This is the first event of this kind, but if there is enough interest — it'll be happening regularly.
This time we'll be watching "Enter the Void" in the hall of Newspeak House using a projector. There will be soft drinks and beer. The event will happen during the regular community dinner Ration Club upstairs (in a separate space), so there will be adequate food.

Synopsis
Enter the Void is a 2009 English-language art film written and directed by Gaspar Noé. A fantasy psychological drama set in the neon-lit nightclub environments of Tokyo, the story follows Oscar, a young American drug dealer who gets fatally shot by the police, but continues to watch subsequent events during an out-of-body experience. The film is shot from a first-person viewpoint, which often floats above the city streets, and occasionally features Oscar staring over his own shoulder as he recalls moments from his past. Noé labels the film a "psychedelic melodrama".
