Ready for a night that’s equal parts inspirational and cathartic? 📚💥
Join us for a two-part evening where we’ll:
First, gather for "Unsung Heroines" (a powerful book launch and storytelling event highlighting overlooked women of the Bay, featuring author/ KQED staff writer Rae Alexandra, creator of the award-winning KQED series "Rebel Girls From Bay Area History")
Then, we'll head out together to smash, shatter, and release it all in a high-energy rage room experience at Smash Kingdom (Oakland)
✨ What to Expect
A thought-provoking live reading + conversation that will motivate, challenge, and expand us
A post-event group at a nearby smash room
Come for either parts or both!!

Smash room bookings are not included, so please reserve your spot at Smash Kingdom (Oakland) in advance if you’d like to participate (strongly recommended)

We’ll meet at Local Economy at 7pm for part 1, then head to the smash room (plan to arrive at Smash Kingdom by 8:45 if you are just joining for this part).
