About Event

Addressing construction’s long-standing productivity, quality, and safety challenges will require new approaches to how industry data is shared and put to work.

That is why general contractors and industry partners from across North America have come together to take a step toward building a more open construction data ecosystem.

You are invited to join Autodesk Research and DMZ's Centre for Housing Innovation (CHI) teams alongside AECO industry leaders, startups, research organizations, and funders as we bring our month-long construction data sprint to a close, share what we have learned, and discuss what comes next.

Hosted at OCAD University, Waterfront Campus in Toronto, the event will feature Grant Findlay, Chair of the Construction Data Trust in the United Kingdom, who will share practical lessons from building a trusted model for industry data sharing and what it takes to make construction data useful at scale. You will then hear directly from CHI startups as they pitch how they are innovating with open construction data.
