Jos didn't stumble into crypto. He bought his first Bitcoin in 2013 as an aerospace engineering student, spent years inside PGGM and Rabobank watching how institutional money actually moves, and in 2017 left to build the company he wished existed: a regulated, Bitcoin-only home for serious European capital.
He raised quietly, built the platform end to end with his own hands, and pushed it through a Dutch and now EU regulatory process most founders avoid on principle. Where the rest of the industry hired consultants and stacked vendors, Jos hired AI agents and shipped. With MiCAR authorisation in hand, Blockrise is now gearing up for its next phase of growth.
