Cookbook Club: December
This Month’s Meeting: Cookie Swap
This month, attendees will bring 1–2 dozen cookies of their choosing to share, swap, enjoy at the event, or take home. If you’d like, feel free to bring a copy of your recipe to share with others!
We’ll be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Cookbook Club will be providing hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies for everyone to decorate while we watch! 🍪
How it Works:
A Google Sheet will be emailed at time of sign-up to all attendees before the event. This month, you get to choose what cookies you’d like to bring!
We ask that everyone list the name or type of cookie they plan to bring in the sheet to help avoid duplicates. Please also note any food allergies you may have so we can help make the event enjoyable for everyone.
Each attendee is encouraged to bring 1–2 dozen cookies
All Cookbook Club meetings are 18+
What is provided:
Hot Chocolate and assorted beverages
Gingerbread cookies for decorating
Icing/sprinkles
To-go containers
Silverware
Napkins
⚠️We’re committed to keeping our shared meals (or cookie swaps) safe and inclusive. We ask that all food be prepared using standard safe food handling practices. Kindly avoid ingredient substitutions to help us be mindful of others’ allergies.
Please note this is a community potluck featuring home-cooked food. While we provide basic safety guidelines, and will attempt to label dishes with any potential allergens, each dish is prepared by individual members. Please use your own discretion when selecting foods, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
