About Event

At Sysoma, we believe the way we finance, design, build, and inhabit our environments shapes the health of every other system. Historically, the funding mechanisms of real estate development have been exclusive and extractive.

The Sysoma Investment Club changes that. It is a community based approach to funding places good for soul, soil, and society. The club is managed on Fractional, a technology platform that handles the legal, compliance, and tax administration and opens participation beyond accredited investors alone. Real estate development has long been the province of private equity and institutional capital. This club opens it to you.

Members pool capital, vote on the projects the club backs, and share in the outcomes. You do not hand your money to strangers and wait. You help decide where it goes. We have wanted to invite people in like this from the beginning, and we are glad to finally do it.

This webinar is the walkthrough. Sysoma develops housing and mixed use projects in Northwest Washington, where the supply of developable land is fixed and demand keeps building. The first raise targets $500,000, with a $20,000 minimum and a five year horizon.

In this session we will cover:

  • How the club is structured, and how members participate and vote

  • The two projects already underway: Fieldlight Row, now under construction, and 307 S. 1st Street in downtown Mount Vernon

  • Where value comes from under both hold and sell strategies

  • The risks, and how we work to manage them

  • What it takes to join, from the commitment step through funding

The webinar is hosted by Joel Fariss, Founder and CEO of Sysoma, joined by Fractional CEO Stella Han to answer your questions.
