Sentientist Afternoon: Politics - 25th January

​Sentientism is a worldview summed up nicely by the motto: “Evidence, reason and compassion for all sentient beings”. These meet-ups are a chance to discuss strategies for moving the world towards one that better aligns with these values.

​For this meet-up, we’ll be focusing on politics. The discussion will explore what a sentientist approach to politics might look like: how sentientist values could inform political priorities, policy-making, and institutions; how current political systems align or conflict with compassion for all sentient beings; and what practical political actions might help move society in a more sentientist direction.
